The same defensible report at every price
No tier locks methodology, source data, or PDF formatting. Higher plans add white-label branding, more reports per year, and a per-report price discount — never a less-defensible report.
Included in every report
- Cost Approach (Many Hats) — task-by-task valuation against BLS occupations
- Market Approach — primary-occupation benchmark for the metro area
- Source citations: BLS occupation code, area code, and data year for every figure
- Methodology section explaining how the numbers were derived
- Sample salary resolution language for board minutes
- Downloadable PDF — share with your tax professional or attach to corporate records
What we deliberately don't do
- No proprietary wage database. All wages come from BLS OEWS — auditor-verifiable.
- No safe-harbor formulas or rules of thumb. The IRS hasn't endorsed any.
- No tax advice. The report documents a defensible number; your tax professional owns the filing.
- No surprise add-ons. Methodology, branding (where included), and PDF are not upsells.
S-Corp owners pay $199 per report at finalize. Professional plans bill annually and include a fixed pool of reports — overflow reports remain available at $199.
If a report has a data error or technical defect, email help@wageproof.com and we will fix it or refund the purchase.
Finalized reports never expire. Drafts auto-finalize after 14 days so you always have a downloadable PDF on record.
Questions before you buy?
How much does a report cost?
Single reports and annual professional plans are available. See the pricing page for current plans and prices.
View pricing→Can I see a sample report before I buy?
Yes. There's a full sample report on the site, no email required. Same format, same data sources, same methodology documentation you'd get in yours.
See the sample report→What if there's a problem with my report?
If there's a data error or technical issue with your report, email help@wageproof.com. We'll fix it or refund your purchase.
Can I upgrade my professional plan mid-year?
Yes — on an active subscription you pay the flat difference between the two plans, your remaining reports carry over plus the tier difference (up to the new plan's maximum), and a new billing year starts the day you upgrade — your plan then renews at the new plan's then-current price a year later unless you cancel. Downgrades aren't currently offered.
View pricing plans→Why wouldn't I just prepare this myself?
You could. But with annual plans, the time savings alone make it worthwhile. The report handles the BLS data lookup, geographic fallback logic, wage adjustments, and methodology documentation. You review the inputs and deliver the report. Your clients get a documented PDF; you skip the manual data work.
